Remnants can be created for serialized products. This article describes how to create a remnant for serial numbers allocated to a job. For serial numbers that have not been allocated, you can create a remnant on the Serial Number Detail page
- Go to the job activity where you allocated the material
- Click on the serial number and select Create Remnant...
- Enter the measurements of the remnant or for products without measurements enter the quantity and click OK
- The remnant quantity will be deducted from the original serial number and a new serial number will be created for the remnant.
