Inactivate Purchase Products

If a product is discontinued, you can make it inactive. This will make the product inactive on all cost lists, and it won't be available on any new purchase orders or material allocations. If just a specific color or model number is discontinued, you can make product attribute values inactive.

  1. Go to Purchasing > Edit Purchase Products
  2. In the Product column, click on the name of the product
  3. Select Edit Product 'product name' and select the "Inactive" checkbox.

    Here is the result:
  4. (Optional)To hide inactive products on the Edit Purchase Products page, click the near the top of the page and uncheck "Display Inactive".
