This article describes how to move a value from one price group to another. For instructions on adding a new value to a price group please see Maintaining Sell Products
There are 2 ways to move values to different groups. I'll give a summary of the two options and then show you the step by step instructions for each option. I'm going to use sell products for my example but the process is the same for purchase products.
Option 1 - Edit the price groups directly to make the change. This option will need to be done separately for both the sell product and the purchase product.
Option 2 - If the price groups are based on a Parent Field, you can make the change in the attribute's list of values and then regenerate the price groups for the product to reflect the change.
Step by step instructions for Option 1
- Go to Quote > Edit Prices and click on

- Select the appropriate Product and click OK
- In the Price Group column, click on the name of any price group and select Edit Price Groups for 'pricelist > product'.

TIP: For products on multiple price lists, update the price groups on one price list and then copy the updated price groups to other price lists if desired.
- Select the values to move to a different group and click on

- Select the Price Group and click OK
