Activity Series are used to schedule activities that span multiple days. The members of a series have the
icon.
Summary
When editing or creating job activities, you can create an 'Activity Series' to repeat the activity over multiple days.
- Edit an existing activity or create a new activity.
- At the bottom of the Edit Job Activity dialog, is an option to select the 'Series'. Choose 'New Series'.
- You will be prompted to enter the number of days.
- Change the Working days (over rides calendar default), schedule start time , etc. by selecting Edit Series Info...
Step by Step
- On the Job Detail page, double-click on the Activity and select Edit "activity name"
- At the bottom of the dialog select New Series and enter the number of days
- In this example a series of 3 Installs is created. Each defaults to the scheduled time, duration and assignee of the original Install activity. They are scheduled sequentially based on the default workdays on your calendar settings.
- To modify one or more members of a series, double-click on the series (Example 1 of 3) and then make your selections. (TIP: Select multiple values by clicking the first value and then holding down the Shift key and clicking on the last value.)
- To change the working days or schedule time, click on the series (Example 1 of 3) and then select Edit Series Info...

- To extend a series, edit any one of the members of the series and at the bottom of the dialog, select Extend Series and enter the number of days.
- To modify one or more members of a series, double-click on the series (Example 1 of 3) and then make your selections. (TIP: Select multiple values by clicking the first value and then holding down the Shift key and clicking on the last value.)
