This article provides a quick reference for using the calendar. To get to the calendar, go to Calendar > View Calendar

  • To schedule a new appointment or job activity, click anywhere on the calendar.
  • To reschedule an appointment or job activity you can drag and drop items on the calendar or you can click on any item to change the date or time.
  • Use appointments to indicate when workers are on vacation or not available.
  • To change the information on an appointment or job activity, click on the item and select Edit or just double-click on the item.
  • To change the working days or hours, go to Calendar > Edit Settings.
  • To change the size of the text on the Calendar, go to your browser menu bar and select View > Text Size.
  • The color of the box corresponds to the field selected for Color Activities By: You can change the selection by clicking on . The default is job activity type. You may also choose to color activities by any custom field or form field that contains a list of values that have been color coded. You can change the color for appointments on Calendar > Edit Settings.
  • The color of the text in the boxes indicates the status of the activity. The default color values are shown below. These colors can be changed by your system administrator (Job > Edit Settings) so yours may be different.
    • Black = Estimate
    • Purple = Auto-schedule
    • Green = Confirmed
    • Blue = Complete
    • Red = Cancelled
  • To change the status of an activity to "Complete", click on the item and choose "Change Status to Complete".
  • To print the calendar page as it appears on your screen, go to your browser menu bar and select File > Print
  • To print all the items on the calendar for a given day or to just print specific activity types or items for specific assignees, create a calendar printable form.
  • To customize how the calendar is displayed, you can create views by clicking on .
