Question
One of our packets is set to include a form from the quote. When we have more than one quote attached to the job, all the forms appear in the packet. Can a setting be altered to allow only the form from only one quote?
Answer
Instead of creating a new quote when you need to make an update, open the original quote and create a revision instead. The packet will only print the latest revision so only the most recent quote will be printed.
To create a quote revision:
- Open the original quote
- Click the Freeze this revision button and enter a description
- Click the Edit Quote button and enter your reason for editing the quote
A new revision is created and you can make changes. The original quote remains unchanged.
