Show calendar as default page

Is there a way to redirect a user to the calendar view when they log in?

Answer

Yes, you are logging into a webpage so you just need to change the URL you use to access Moraware.

If you’re clicking the shortcut on your desktop, change where the shortcut is pointing:

1. Right-click on the icon, and choose properties.
2. You should see a line like: URL: http://'companyname'.moraware.net
3. Change the line to point to the calendar. The generic link to the calendar is http://'companyname'.moraware.net/'companyname'/default.asp?wp=3
4. Or, just copy & paste the view from your browser into the shortcut. (NOTE: If you have something like &effdate=2010-05-12 at the end of your URL, you should remove it so you don't default to that date)

If you’re using a favorite or bookmark in your browser, change the favorite or bookmark.

1. Go to the page in Moraware JobTracker you want to be your default and save it as a favorite or bookmark.
