5 Tips for Maximizing Your TISE 2026 Experience

Our team is looking forward to attending The International Surface Event (TISE) this January 26-29, 2026. This event is one of the countertop industry’s top shows and it kicks off the year with lots of energy. We really enjoyed going last year. It’s a great opportunity to to see the latest trends and innovations, meet others in the industry, and get valuable insights at the many educational sessions and workshops.

If you are going to the event, we would love to connect with you. Please swing by our booth (#5773), by the Natural Stone Pavilion or if you spot the Moraware team on the show floor, don’t hesitate to say hello.

We are especially looking  forward to connecting with customers at the party we are co-hosting with Rockheads on Tuesday, January 27th. If you are interested in joining us, you can find details on our TISE event page with info on how to RSVP.

TISE features over 650 exhibitors and more than 80 educational sessions at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center. With so much to see and do, it’s easy to get overwhelmed. Here are five tips to help you make the most of your time at the show:

1. Define Your Priorities

Think about what is most important to you and what you want to accomplish at TISE 2026. Are you hoping to connect with other shop owners to discuss best practices? Are you interested in learning about new technologies to streamline your operations? Are you searching for new fabrication equipment?

Think about what you want to accomplish in order of priority and keep that in mind during the event to make sure you are hitting your goals. This focus will help you make decisions about where to spend your time and energy. It’s easy to get distracted with so much going on.

2. Make a Plan

TISE is North American’s key flooring, stone, and tile event and includes over 400,000 square feet in the exhibit hall, a 4-day education program, live workshops and demos and more.

Start by reviewing the agenda and floor plan, then make a list of the sessions, booths, and demos that you want to check out. Having a game plan will help you prioritize your time and ensure you don’t miss key opportunities.

Pro Tip: Use the TISE My Show Planner to map your route and stay organized and identify booths you want to visit in advance. Plus, check out the full TISE Education Schedule on the TISE website.

Don’t forget to put evening events on your calendar as well. It’s a great opportunity to mingle and meet others in the industry.

You don’t want to miss the reception Moraware is co-hosting the Rockheads on Tuesday night for Moraware customers and Rockhead members. It was very popular last year so book your spot early since space is limited.

3. Make Time for Connections

TISE brings together thousands of fabricators, suppliers, designers, and industry professionals. This is your chance to build relationships that can transform your business.

This event provides a great opportunity to ask other fabricators about their challenges, share what’s working in your shop, and exchange contact information with people you connect with.

Don’t leave your networking to chance. Reach out to fabricators, vendors, and others on your list a few weeks in advance to set up times to connect. TISE is massive, and hoping to run into someone rarely works.

A few weeks before the event  send a short message to  coordinate meet-ups. Whether it’s a coffee chat or booth visit, these pre-planned connections will help keep you on track and organize your schedule.

4. Keep Comfort in Mind and Pace Yourself

A full day at TISE involves a lot of walking and standing. You will likely be walking well over 10K steps per day. The Mandalay Bay Conference Center is enormous and trying to see everything in a day or two can be very tiring. Break up your day with sit-down educational sessions, take breaks at networking lounges, and stay hydrated.

It’s worth bringing some comfortable shoes and a small bag for brochures, a water bottle, and swag. And don’t forget to pace yourself and take some breaks. Give yourself time to have meaningful discussions with exhibitors and fellow attendees.

5. Remember Post-Event Follow Ups

The TISE show is action packed and the days will fly by. To keep the momentum going and to maximize the benefits of attending the show, you need a plan for what happens after the show.

  • Review your notes and materials within a week while everything is fresh in your mind
  • Follow up with new contacts
  • Share key takeaways with your team
  • Implement at least one new idea you learned
