User permissions and edge images

Aug 14, 2012 | CounterGo

The latest update to CounterGo allows you to set security permissions for each user. This lets you have users who can edit quotes, but can’t change the price lists. To change the security roles for a user, go to Admin >> Users, edit the user, uncheck “Administrator” and select one or more Roles. To edit the security roles, go to Admin >> Roles. There you can change what permissions are assigned to each role.

JobTracker users can now access CounterGo quotes. By assigning a JobTracker user to the “CounterGo Quotes” role, they can view, print, and email the CounterGo quote. They can also edit the quote header, attached files, or create a job from the quote. JobTracker users can’t edit the quote drawing unless you purchase a CounterGo license for them.

If you forget your password, you can now reset it yourself by clicking “Forgot your password?” on the login screen. This sends an email to yourself with a password reset code. For this to work, make sure your email address is filled in on the Admin >> Users page.

We also added many more edge images. On the CounterGo price list, when you edit a finished edge you can select from more than 40 images.
