Moving inventory allocations within a job

by | Dec 5, 2013 | JobTracker Tips

With our latest update to JobTracker, you can now move inventory allocations quickly between activities in a job.

Just click on the serial number or the tag icon and drag the number to another activity.

When is this useful? If you’re working on a large commercial countertop job, you probably know the inventory you need ahead of time. (For example, I’ll need 40 slabs… serial numbers 10000 – 10039.)

But, you probably don’t know how that job will actually get fabricated – will everything be built at once, or will I have 5 days of fabrication, spread out over weeks or months? This update makes is fast to move the inventory between activities once it gets closer to the real fabrication dates.

Want to know more? At Moraware, we make software for countertop fabricators. CounterGo is countertop drawing, layout, and estimating software. JobTracker is scheduling software that helps you eliminate the time you waste looking for job folders. RemnantSwap is a free place to buy and sell granite remnants with fabricators near you.
